Tina, Are you familiar with the Center for Book Arts in NYC? They teach all of those crafts. I have been hoping to get back to those crafts, and to incorporate them into digital design work. You can Google them, and I'll look up the link. Great place! The school in which I work used to be the hub of printing education in NYC: NY School of Printing in the '20s-70s. My classroom still has lettering for Hand Composition above the door. Diana

Tina,
I worked as a graphic design and "paste-up" artist in publishing and advertising shops before going into teaching, and kept wandering into libraries myself. I spent some time in the seventies and eighties especially playing with book binding, calligraphy, papermaking and book restoration. I'm a compulsive book browser and love musty old library shelves. Digital was a slow adjustment, but I have been converted for some time. Love those old photos!

Tina,
I love your archival photo! Points out the changes in technology since I began at my school just a couple years ago. Fur is quite hip, too. I'm a frustrated archivist and restoration person trapped in a digital image. I'm looking forward to sharing some acid-free chats with you. Diana

I would prefer the book on avoiding plagiarism, as I think it is great across the board of all teachers, but the Gaming title is also of interest.
