Dear Michelle,
Thank you for responding. Love your picture, by the way! It must be fun, and quite gratifying to work with teachers in that position. I'm looking forward to a comparable position with CTE or high school teaching after my Masters. I 'm not yet sure if I will go the route of National Certification, but it is calling me. Good to meet you! Congratulations on the National Board Certification! There is not yet one teacher in my NYC CTE community who has yet accomplished National Certification in Technology Education, and some now have earned it in Elementary. Is that your area? Or elementary? In either case, I congratulate you. I will enjoy and appreciate hearing what you are doing with tech. ed. in your school. And I will definitely check out your web page. I have been teaching since 1998 in an elementary school in southeast Missouri. Beginning in the 2006-07 school year I have been working with the PreK through 6th grade teachers in my district to train them to use the existing technology in our district and integrate technology into the curriculum.
